At a glance
FlappyPush is an iPhone game independently published by Adrien Grusse. No account is required. Camera images and movement analysis are processed on your device. The app does not send your images, movements, scores or clips to the publisher’s servers. It includes no advertising, third-party analytics SDKs or advertising tracking.
Camera, face and movement
The front camera displays the player and controls the bird using the position of their face. Apple frameworks also analyse body landmarks and may separate the person from the background to display the game scenery. Processing takes place on your iPhone during play; observations are used in memory and do not create an identification profile. The app does not identify you or train models with your images. Camera permission is required to play on iPhone and can be withdrawn in iOS Settings.
Recording and microphone
Recording a game is optional. ReplayKit capture may include your image, the game and its sounds. The microphone is off by default and is used only if you enable it and grant iOS permission. Playing without recording still uses camera tracking. Clips are stored in the app’s temporary storage and removed when you delete them, when a new attempt replaces them or at the next app launch. The raw recording is deleted after export processing. An unexpected interruption may leave a temporary file until cleanup at the next launch.
Photos and sharing
Photos access is limited to adding a clip you choose to save: the app does not browse your photo library. Sharing opens the iOS share sheet, where you choose the recipient or service. No clip is published automatically. Copies saved to Photos or sent to another service remain under your control and that service’s rules. Any iCloud syncing depends on your Apple settings. Deleting a clip from FlappyPush does not delete those copies.
On-device progress
The app stores your high score, counted push-ups, workout dates and results, selected character, unlocked characters and some game settings locally. This lets you keep your progress. The information remains in app data until the app is deleted. Use “Delete App” in iOS to remove it; “Offload App” keeps app data. iPhone backups and restores may retain or restore this information depending on your Apple settings. There is no FlappyPush account to delete.
The flappypush.app website
Vercel hosts this website. Visits may involve processing technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested URL and request time to deliver pages and maintain security. The site includes no audience analytics, advertising pixels, data collection forms or advertising cookies. Technical logs are kept according to Vercel’s operational and security retention periods; we do not build advertising browsing histories. See the Vercel Privacy Notice.
Contacting support
When you email adriengrusse.dev@gmail.com, the publisher receives your email address and the information you choose to send. This is used only to answer and handle your request. Do not send medical information or personal videos unless necessary. Messages are handled through Google’s Gmail service and retained while the request is being handled, then for no more than twelve months after the last exchange, unless a legal obligation or dispute requires limited further retention.
Purposes, providers and transfers
Where the GDPR applies, providing the requested game functionality and responding to requests rely on performance of the requested service; website security relies on the legitimate interest in providing a reliable service. Optional recording and microphone features depend on your choice and iOS permissions. The publisher is responsible for website and support processing. Vercel provides hosting and Google provides email. These services may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States, under applicable transfer safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an applicable adequacy decision. See the Vercel DPA and Google Privacy Policy. Apple’s processing for the App Store, backups and iOS diagnostics is governed by your settings and Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of data we hold and object to processing based on legitimate interests, subject to applicable conditions. Email adriengrusse.dev@gmail.com. We normally respond within one month, with extensions possible as provided by the GDPR. Because game data stays on your device, the publisher cannot access or remotely erase it. You may also complain to the CNIL or your local data protection authority.
Children and changes
We do not solicit children’s personal information. A parent can contact us regarding a message sent by a child. An adult should explain and supervise camera and sharing permissions where needed. This policy will be updated if functionality or data practices change. Its date appears at the top of this page.
